Omran Performed all Design/Build Services on this project. The work included a new centralized wastewater system including new gravity sanitary sewer mains, lift stations, force mains, manholes, waste water treatment plant sludge filter press and an effluent disposal system. All the existing septic tanks were emptied and filled with sand and abandoned in place. The wastewater treatment plant has been designed for average daily flow of 196,000 gallons per day and peak daily flow rate of 343,422 gallons per day. The equivalent resident design population for this project has been considered as 4,000 capita per day. Omran was also awarded with a modification for design and construction of a sand filter system for the treatment of the WWTP effluent. The process in wastewater treatment plant Package is activated sludge that operates in the extended-aeration mode.
In order to meet the deliverables, Omran Holding Group self-performed all the design, construction management, and quality control activities to ensure quality, control costs, and meet the extremely aggressive schedule.
