Project Description

Omran was awarded the contract for design/build of the a WWTP at Camp Shaheen in Balkh Province. The project involves design, upgrade and construction of a wastewater treatment, fuel storage (40,000 liters), power generators, power and electrical systems, mechanical systems, water well, access ramp to settling bond, emergency backup power, WWTP upgrade, pump house upgrade, transfer pump changes, and wall enclosure, Influent Pump Station, administration/laboratory/chlorination building, polishing pond with water tanker filling station, sludge pump station, sludge drying beds, water system, sanitary sewer system, demolition and grading, existing plant and lift station sites, electrical system, access road, road network, sidewalk, and parking, facilities.

Upon award of the project, Omran mobilized to the job site with full equipment and machineries and assigned expert engineers and technicians to the project. The projects is a complex initiative; USACE modified the project scope and added more tasks to the original contract
